Chinese People Have Too Much Pride

I got my phone and laptop back yesterday. My dad had argued on my behalf and the next morning, she told me that I'd get my stuff back.

But of course, she had too much pride to admit that I was right, so she made me show some pictures from Facebook. I let her look at 4 or 5, and I take my laptop back, and she doesn't say anything about it again.

Man, why are Chinese people like that? Why can't they just admit that sometimes, I show more sense than they do? But no, Chinese people will never admit that they are wrong. They'll do anything they can to avoid admitting. It's that pride that we have. And I'm proud of it too.
